Budget deal includes Senate vote on Health Care
According to
this CNN article, the budget deal reached late Friday night to keep the government operating included a provision that the Senate vote on repeal of Washington’s massive health care reform law.
The House has already passed a law to repeal the oppressive law, but in the past, leaders of the Democratically-controlled Senate said they wouldn’t allow a vote on the measure.
A Senate vote would not only be a great opportunity to discuss the most controversial parts of the law, but would also force Senators to declare where they stand.
