July 16, 2010 — Yarmouth’s Clam Festival was pretty cool. It’s filled with a ton of craft and food stands and it was a blast to walk around. Matt at one point found a place to sit down, not noticing the sign that said, “Only 65 and older resting area” so naturally, we took a video. We got some great interviews with a range of people and clams. Yes, they had a clam mascot and we couldn’t resist getting his opinions on camera. Unfortunately, clams don’t speak, but they do a great job of miming their opinions. I couldn’t stop laughing especially because Matt, for some reason, felt obligated to bounce in place with the clam.
After quickly filling up the video card, we headed to Boston where we were going to spend the next few days at the Revere Beach Sand Sculpting Festival. As soon as we hit the city, I quickly realized that Boston’s roads are nearly impossible to navigate. Orlando really doesn’t have many roundabouts and it quickly became a life and death situation trying to get to the hotel during rush hour. We finally made it and were rewarded by seeing our shirts for the first time which look pretty awesome. I can’t wait to try them out tomorrow in front of the epic sand sculptures.
